Eichler home roofing problems: Solved with Abril Roofing Company’s Polyurethane Foam Roofing System!

Problem #1
tar & gravel roof drainage problem

The section of roofing above the garage always had a large pool of sitting water on it.

Solution: 8 out of 10 Eichler homes experience this problem. In many cases, the owner is forced to add a drain in the middle of the garage, which in most instances leaks into the garage. With a foam roof we eliminated this middle drain and the standing water. We simply added more foam in the ponding areas and diverted the water to the drains.

Problem #2
My home was always so hot or so cold because I didn’t have insulation on my roof. If it is 90 degrees outside then it was 90 degrees inside or hotter.

Solution: Foam roofing was applied because it’s the best insulation value of any type of roofing product. On a hot day the new foam roof lowered the inside temperature by more than 20 degrees.

Problem #3
I had many trees in my yard that dropped a lot of leaves onto my roof and clogged up my drains.

Solution: We added 2 to 3 more drains to help the roofing system work more efficiently. We also upgraded the drains by using larger drains and larger downspouts. We recommended our service agreement which includes a once-a-year maintenance program – including cleaning and inspecting the roof.

Problem #4
The skylights in my home always either leaked or formed condensation on the inside.

Solution: We recommended the highest quality skylights available. They are double paned for insulation and they have a thermal break which eliminates any inside condensation.

Problem #5
I had a Roll-O-Matic atrium cover which always gave me roofing problems. It had been leaking for the past four years.

Solution: We used special steel I beam system, designed to eliminate all Roll-O-Matic issues.
