four days, from start to finish.

- Our Roofing Analyst Meets with You and Prepares a Roofing Proposal:
Your roof restoration needs are discussed and a thorough examination
of the roof takes place. After a careful assessment, a Roofing Proposal
will be prepared, which includes detailed findings and recommendations.
The scope of work, materials, benefits and process will be outlined and
the costs included.

 Our Roofing Technicians Prepare the Surface
and Build in Drainage:
The existing tarpaper layer, loose gravel and dirt are removed.
The roof’s surface is evened out. For optimal drainage,
new drains are installed as well as our proprietary edge metal
system on all perimeter edges. Existing skylights are replaced
and new ones installed, if necessary. (We install a wide variety
of custom skylights. Atrium covers are also installed at this
time.) All surfaces to be covered with the foam are primed.
- Our Roofing Technicians Apply the Polyurethane
Foam:
A layer of foam is carefully applied to the entire roof and
flashings at an average depth of 1.5 inches, in accordance
with rigorous guidelines.
- Our Roofing Technicians Apply the Tough
Elastomeric Coating:
Elastomeric, a resilient, acrylic coating, is applied over
the foam surface twice – first a gray base coat and then a white topcoat, – to
insure coverage. (We have three colors to choose from: white –the
most popular and energy efficient, tan and gray.
- Our Roofing Technicians Apply the Roofing
Granules:
For the finishing touch, a layer of roofing granules is spread
onto the wet elastomeric topcoat to provide additional durability
and sun protection.
- Take a Walk on the Roof:
Once the roof is complete and dry, bring your friends and come
up for an inspection! You’ll love your new foam roof!
